Q. What training methods do you use?
A. We only use positive training methods which include praise and rewards and never use harsh punishments to correct behaviour.
Q. Are you experienced?
A. Yes, I have experience with my own dogs, customers dogs, and friends and families dogs also. I have studied with the Academy of Dog Training and Behaviour (ADTB), I have completed a course with the Animal Care College (ACC) and am now qualified in Canine Psychology, I am also currently studying Canine Aggression with Compass Education & Training (The College Of Canine Studies), and are a member of The Institute Of Animal Care and Education (IACE).
Q. I am at work in the day, can you come in to care for my puppy?
A. Yes, I can come to keep your new puppy company, take him for a walk, to the toilet and clean up any accidents also, feed, play and train him whilst you are at work.
Q. My dog is not very friendly towards other dogs, can you walk him separately?
A. Yes, I can walk your dog by himself if preferred - just let me know your requirements when you call.
Q. I am going on holiday, can you look after my cats?
A. Yes, cats are happier in their own surroundings. I can come to feed them and care for them once or twice a day as desired whilst you are away.
Q. What are the benefits of training in my own home?
A. Training the dog in the place where the most common problems occur, such as jumping on furniture and rushing the door, is more effective than training in an artificial environment such as an empty hall. It also has the added benefit of your dog feeling more relaxed and secure in his own home.
Q. Will my dog be let loose off the lead?
A. For the safety of your dog he will be responsibly kept on a lead throughout his walk (unless discussed otherwise and aggreed at time of booking), we do however have extendable leads and 60 foot leads to allow your dog to run, play, and explore freely, whilst being safe at all times.
Q. My dog is quite old can he be walked safely?
A. Yes, we can provide shorter, less demanding walks for older dog's consisting of a gentle shorter walk as requested, all designed around your individual dogs needs.
Q. Can you reinforce training that I have already started?
A. Yes, I will make sure any training requirements are reinforced in a calm and positive way.
Q. Can I safely leave my key with you?
A. Yes, many of our customers who work or are away on holiday/business trips use this valuable service to allow your pet to be walked during the day.
Note: I have been fully police checked and insured giving you piece of mind that your home will be fully respected and all security requests will be adhered to. All keys placed in my possession are kept in a secure place, coded and will have no details of your address attached to them, I will returned the keys to you or your nominated recipient at your request.

A. Great, now you're ready to book simply give me a ring or shoot me an email and we can arrange a suitable time to meet and discuss you and your pets individual needs.
